C-FWZZ

History

PA-23-250-C, Serial Number 27-3935, was manufactured in 1966 at the Piper Aircraft Corporation facility in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. The aircraft, then Canadian registered as CF-WZZ, came into my care and control on June 11, 1974, acquired from Aero Flying Academy located at the Municipal Airport (YXD) in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

The aircraft was based in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Canada (JU4) from that time until September of that year when we relocated to Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada (YQL).

In the early part of 1978, CF-WZZ was repainted at Field Aviation Limited in Calgary, Alberta, Canada (YYC) and the registration updated to C-FWZZ in compliance with the new regulations.

Operations continued from YQL until October of 1978 when the move was made to Outlook, Saskatchewan, Canada (JH9), then back to Humboldt in July of 1986 where C-FWZZ remained based until the time of sale on August 22, 1990.
